Gaza has become another headline in a relentless news cycle. For the families living through it, there is no moving on. Every day still begins with the same questions. Will there be enough food to get through the day? Will clean water be available? Will a mother be able to find the baby milk her child desperately needs?

The crisis has evolved, but it has not ended. Hunger is still widespread and continues to deepen, access to safe drinking water remains limited, and the most basic necessities have become increasingly difficult to secure. What was once taken for granted is now uncertain, forcing families to spend each day searching for the essentials they need to survive.

This is how and WHY Watan began.

Long before the conflict, Watan started in Gaza, working to serve the Palestinian people. Founded by a Gazan born, Watans employs locals who know families, know the needs of families and the routes. Our warehouses on the ground are constantly being replenished with whatever can be sourced. Having delivered on behalf of some of the largest charities in the sector, Watan has the largest footprint of delivery in Gaza. Having only previously worked directly with charities, Watan is now also working with donors to allow direct access to beneficiaries with no middlemen.

While others continue to speak about the challenges of reaching Gaza, our teams continue to do what they have done before the crisis began: deliver. Through established warehouses, local suppliers, trusted networks and teams working inside Gaza itself, we are reaching families with food, clean water, baby milk and emergency aid every single day.

The images that reach our screens only tell part of the story. Behind every statistic is a family trying to navigate a reality where food is increasingly scarce, clean water is difficult to access and children are growing up surrounded by uncertainty.

For parents, survival has become a daily calculation. For infants, access to proper nutrition cannot wait. For children, contaminated water carries consequences that stretch far beyond thirst. These are not separate crises. They are all part of the same reality confronting families across Gaza.

And while the world’s attention shifts elsewhere, the need remains exactly where it has always been.

WATAN IS STILL DELIVERING

Throughout Ramadan, our teams worked around the clock delivering food, clean water and essential aid to families across Gaza. During Qurbani, fresh meat reached vulnerable households that had gone months without proper nutrition. Today, those same teams continue to respond, delivering hot meals, food packs, clean water and baby milk directly into the communities that need them most.

This is food reaching families facing hunger. It is water reaching communities facing shortages. It’s baby milk reaching mothers who have exhausted every other option.

Our ability to deliver is built on years of presence, relationships and operational experience inside Gaza. Long before the world was paying attention, our teams were there. And while the challenges continue, so does our commitment to the people we serve.
